Interview with Yana Chereshneva

Please tell us how it all started? How did you start climbing, why did you do it, when did you start, who helped you in your evolution, what did your parents think about it?
I can't remember how many years I am already climbing, I climb as much as I remember myself. My parents have alway taken me with them on the trainings and competitions. I saw people climbing, cleaned the holds with the brush and began climbing myself bit by bit. The fact that my parents and me have the common cause is a great advantage. We are training together, planing the future, helping each other, invigorating.
Do you prefer climbing on rocks or taking part in competitions collecting new achievements? Do you like competitions or is it only a tribute to your sponsors?
I like rock climbing as it is, I like to climb everywhere - on rocks, while training, in the competitions (tbr, 17.12.2005) further>>
